This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Studify collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to students, parents, tutors, and visitors who use the Services.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, and role; profile details you provide; and records of your bookings, agendas, and course purchases.
Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider; we store only limited payment metadata such as status and the last digits of a card. We also collect usage and device data to operate and secure the platform.
2. Children's data
Accounts for school-aged students are created and managed with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We limit the collection of a minor's data to what is necessary to provide the Services and we do not use it for advertising.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to provide and improve the Services, match students with tutors, process payments, maintain agendas and course access, and send you service-related communications.
Our legal bases include performing our contract with you, your consent where required, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating a safe, reliable platform.
4. How we share your data
We share data with tutors only as needed to deliver a booked session, and with service providers that help us run Studify, such as payment processing, email delivery, authentication, and hosting.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.
5. Data retention and security
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including access controls and row-level security, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. International processing and contact
